BARGAIN COMPUTER GAMING

Your resource for information on how to find computer game bargains.
My Philosophy--

Computer games are like books. You like certain authors, certain subject matters, certain book covers. You may read a book review, you may just choose to buy it off the shelf. Whatever the case may be, at some point you begin to read the book and it either, captures your interest, holds your interest for awhile, starts good and then fades into boredom or is nothing like what you thought.

Computer games are much the same.

Now the question comes: Do you buy the hardcover first edition with crispy paper the moment it hits the bookshelf, or do you wait for a few months before it comes out in paperback form?

Buying the paperback book.
Often times when you wait patiently for the $5.99 paperback, you find a book that is more up-to-date than the original hardback. It may have new photographs, typos corrected and, maybe, added information (a new prologue or epilogue).

Computer games are even more up-to-date in the "paperback" stage, what with bugs fixed, patches created, reviews written, hint and cheats figured out, etc.

Nothing is worse than spending $39.95 and finding out that the game is buggy with a patch "to be added later." Wait six months, get the same game for $9.95 and find the patch on the Internet.
